Pete Guzzo, Executive Producer + Operations Strategist
When content, production, marketing, operations, studios, and business strategy are all tangled together and nobody owns the full picture, that's the problem I fix.
Brands, agencies, studios, founders, and production teams. I build the systems, run the productions, connect creative to business outcomes, and work with financial and operations teams on cost reduction, analysis, and cash flow planning that actually holds up.

How I got Barstool Sports to Shear Media Studios
Built the infrastructure, positioned the facility, and developed the client relationships that brought a national sports network to a newly opened studio — and kept them coming back every week.
Broadcast control room. REMI workflow. SRT transmission to any control room in the world. Podcast and creator suites. The same strategy and tech stack behind every client that followed.
Studios are operating systems
Studios are not rooms. They're operating systems. A good studio reduces friction, increases output, improves quality, and turns content into a repeatable business function, content production, livestreaming, podcasts, photography, commercial production, live commerce, corporate events.
What I do
Depends on what you need.
Brands, agencies, studios, founders, production teams. Where you land in what I do depends on the problem you're solving.
When you need a production lead
Executive Production
Budget, crew, timeline, client. I run the production from first call to delivery — not just the creative side of it.
Direction + Creative Lead
Commercials, documentaries, branded content. I've been on enough sets to know where things break before they do.
Studio Design + Build-out
I design studios as operating systems — built for output and revenue, not just for looking good on a facility tour.
Content + Marketing Strategy
I connect what gets made to what moves the business. KPIs, not just views.
When you need an ops or strategy partner
Production Operations
Systems and workflows that make repeatable output possible. Not just one good shoot — the infrastructure that keeps it going.
Financial Analysis + Planning
Cost reduction, financial analysis, and cash flow forecasts that actually hold up — built with operations teams, not handed down from above.
Business + Media Consulting
When the problem isn't creative — it's ownership, timeline, or communication — I help fix that too.
Studio Operations Management
Running the facility as a business: scheduling, revenue systems, vendor relationships, and the decisions that don't wait for a meeting.
Most clients are looking for one side of this. Some need both.

About Pete
"Twenty-plus years in branded content, film, and TV. None of that is the point, the point is knowing where this stuff actually gets messy, and how to make it work anyway."
Real food. Actual schedule.
Death to Sad Protein Block for Dinner
Work runs 60 hours a week. There's family, training, and a dog who doesn't care about your calendar. By the time everything else is handled, eating well either gets planned or it gets skipped. 30 minutes on Sunday. 10-minute dinners the rest of the week.
